Dance in my Garden has 'Gone Rustic'!

Rita from Gone Rustic, 'Nest Form - Phoenix'

My 1st Wholesale Order to Gone Rustic
A very talented lady is Rita from Gone Rustic....
Rita loves to create, especially with fibre and textiles. She enjoys the designing process as well as the actual creation of her work. Her skills are based on traditional practices, but she tries to push the boundaries and use them in unique ways.
Rita's business, is based in a converted garage in St Marys, Tasmania, Australia, that has been made into a studio and gallery, where she displays her own work, teaches classes and host exhibitions of local artisans and travelling displays through Tasmanian Regional Arts. She also works from home, especially the items made by hand which she works on during the evenings.
You can also find her work at: http://www.gonerustic.etsy.com/ and http://www.gallery37.etsy.com/.
Rita recently won 1st prize for her art quilt, "Survival" at the Tas Quilting Guild Exhibition. Well done Rita! I spotted her prize winning quilt at the Hobart Quilt and Craft Show, and loved it's earthy appeal.
I was very fortunate to have Gone Rustic as my 1st wholesale customer, and recently completed an order for 10 of my bib and washie sets. It's humbling to think they are sitting among such gorgeous creations and textiles!
If you find yourself near St Marys, be sure to visit Mt Elephant Pancakes, for some yummy indulgence, and beautiful scenery.

  2. Thanks so much Little Eve. I love anywhere on the East Coast of Tasmania, it's such a pretty coastline.
