Try as I might, I just couldn't avoid the flu this season, and my energy levels, as my stock for the next coming market are very depleted.
My mind starts to wonder about escaping the grind, and I find myself fantazising about living in a treehouse...I have always held a fascination for little houses..you know 'the cabin in the woods' type...somewhere you can escape to, some place completely self contained, small, and yet always situated in a natural environment, so you become part of the surroundings....ah...like a treehouse. I love little dwellings...gypsy caravans, tepees, treehouses. I adore these 'take it with you' Tumbleweed Houses. Part of the appeal is the fact that little houses force you to live simply, taking only essentials of life, and discarding the superfluous fluff that sometimes fills your life...Life is pared down to the things that really matter; our relationships with others.
Hope you're feeling better soon. I've escaped the nasty bugs so far, but get the feeling it could be my turn soon - August is usually danger time for me! The wee houses are very cute, the kind I dreamed of having as a child. I get what you mean about living simply. Our house is just what we need. No extra vast rooms for children to disappear off into etc. I never liked that concept. Living in a smaller house means more time spent together and that's what I love about it. Our 'Little House on the Prairie' my favourite show growing up.
