today

In the space of 1 hour in blogland, I have read of a death and then a birth.   My own realisation of my first pregnancy came as we were in the midst of burying my husband's mother.
Last night, I was watching 'Undercover Boss' on tv, and was taken aback with the soft and human approach of the CEO of Toga Hospitality, Rachel Argaman.

'...I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.'
William Butler Yeats

We're all a bit fragile at times, I ebb and flow like everyone.  Have doubts like everyone.  Think too much.
Wonder.  Cry.  Believe.

  1. Oh darling, i was pregnant with my first baby when my mother-in-law passed away. I'm a cryer at the best of times but wow, i was hysterical, blubbering, it was incredibly sad intensified by pregnancy hormones. That is coming up on 12 years ago & still is sad, i feel i've really missed out on only have a mother-in-law for a couple of years of marriage & would have loved her insight into parenting, especially when we had twins, as she had twin sisters too. Sending you wishes, & after 4 children & a vasectemy 7 years ago, no new birth announcements at my blog!! Love Posie
