Sunday musings & book winner/s announced

Congratulations to Angela from Ange's Ramblings, who has won my book give-away! I was running the competition between this blog and my facebook page..and it was trickier than I thought given the fb comp rules..that I (ahem) am not very and completely up to speed on.

Sorry I didn't have a photo of my little one doing the draw, things got a little crazy here tonight, and he pulled out your name before I thought of the camera.

We headed to the Botanical Gardens today for the EnviroFest, and came home with some lovely natives which we will plant in pots, given we don't know the longevity of our stay here in 'town'.  Unusually I didn't bring my camera, but it was probably just as well, or I would have been taking pics of quinces tumbling from baskets, and display gazebos crashing to the ground!  It was so completely over the top windy. And then, I burnt my tongue on a very hot latte.  Interesting day. Well, I did say I would go whatever the weather!

And I am wondering whether the lovely Angela was there today?!

And it was very exciting to discover that I had won a book today, through Chunky Chooky Blog.
