walnut boats

A simple toy for a day -
Ingredients: walnut shells, wool felt, toothpicks, modelling beeswax.
My kids picked these summery colours from the felt box....

    What a great idea! We used to make little walnut babies when i was little with teeny tiny dolls in thier walnut cradles.

    Simple things hey? Have fun racing them!My money is on the blue boat.
